Ken Robinson Named CFO of Mercury Air Group, Inc.

Los Angeles, CA (October 1, 2008): Joseph A. Czyzyk, Chairman & CEO of Mercury Air Group, Inc. announced today the appointment of Ken Robinson as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Company. “We undertook an exhaustive search process and found in Ken someone with over 35 years of experience in finance, corporate planning and accounting as well as a diverse perspective of business experiences including banking, energy and technology. Ken will play a critical role as we continue to navigate the current economic environment and plan for our growth well into the future,” said Czyzyk.

Robinson is a CPA and began his career with Ernst & Young. He has served in senior executive positions with two banks: Chief Accounting Officer/Controller & Executive Vice President of Mercury Savings as well as Chief Financial Officer of United California Savings Bank. Additionally, he served as Controller for the nation’s largest DSL provider, Flashcom, Inc. and as a Controller of AT&T Local Services (formerly TCG).

Robinson has been Financial Vice President of RealEnergy, Inc. and most recently, he was Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller of Commerce Energy, a leading independent electricity and natural gas provider, serving a broad base of residential, small business, commercial and industrial customers located across the U.S.

He has an MBA from California State University, Fullerton and was a member of the American Institute of CPAs, an instructor for commercial bankers in financial statement analysis through the California Society of CPAs and he was the past chapter president of the Tri-County Financial Managers, a group of finance executives based in the Inland Empire/Orange County.
